War Zone Media is where I, Rev. Brandon Warr, try out all my ideas to see what works, what stands out, and what just needs to be shared.
Launched in July 2026, this digital outpost is where my pulp fiction meets Confessional Lutheran theology, my hip-hop project DHB sits alongside sermons about the Trinity, and film projects, essays, cultural rants, and behind-the-scenes moments all gather like laundry that needs folding but probably won’t get it.
Here, doctrine meets distortion pedals. The Book of Concord sits next to horror novels. I might post a deep theological argument or a low-budget film experiment I shot on my Sony VG30 in my backyard at 2 AM when the lighting was finally right.
I grew nauseously bored with chasing algorithms, following trends, and pretending to have all the answers. This website exists because I can’t stop creating, writing, recording, filming, preaching, debating online, and building something honest enough to handle real life. Unfortunately, major platforms are not sympathetic to that type of wild west mentality. So, I built a new home for all of it right here.

You’ll find DHB, my Confessional Lutheran hip-hop project, because no one told me that “Lutheran” and “hip-hop” don’t mix. There are theological studies based on Scripture and the Confessions that take faith seriously without being dull. You’ll also find pulp-noir novels, dark fantasy, horror, science fiction, experimental short films, filmmaking adventures, music videos made on small budgets, cultural commentary, and whatever creative idea has taken over my mind lately.
Some projects are polished. Others are raw, unusual, low-budget, half-finished, or being put together in public, like a barn-raising where everyone can watch me work and sometimes make mistakes.
That’s part of the point.
